You ran though the rain slick forest air burning your lungs as you tried to speed up but it was no use you were to exhausted, you had been running for nearly a day but if you could just make it into the deserts your chakra could recharge like it always did. "Hurry she's getting away!" a man yelled behind you as you felt the air warm as you neared a break in the trees where bright golden light shined through.
Breaking though the thick foliage you stumbled onto golden sand, it was every were just like the sun seemed to be. Smiling with gratitude you tried to keep running as your body responded to the suns rays. Not hearing any one behind you, you collapsed onto the warm powder below you briefly closing you (e/c) eyes.
"Tsk, Tsk, not a wise choice little bird. You could get hurt," a whimper escaped your lips as a gruff voice sounded above you. Feeling a hand clutch your (h/c) hair, you were pried up from the sand to meet the cold black eyes of the man that had helped killed your village. "Time to take you back to the boss," he said with a wicked grin on his scared face, scars that you had put there years ago.
Smiling you looked up to the sky, your necklaces (s/c) stone beginning to shine brighter. "Never," you whispered as the stone released a bright (l/c) before you were whisked away from the group of men and miles away. Trying to stand you looked to see where you where but it was just like before a land full of sand and a bright sun, you had used your necklaces last amount of stored chakra to teleport away from your captors and now it would take the whole day for it to restore what it had lost. A tear slipped down your cheek as your tired body collapsed onto the earth and sent you into a deep sleep.
Anger rose in Kojies chest as he looked down where the girl had just been, she'd done it again, she'd escaped his grasp like she had times and years before. "FIND HER, FIND THAT LITTLE B**CH AND BRING HER BACK TO ME!!!!!!!!!" he yelled at his subordinates making them scatter into the surrounding area. His Boss's orders had been clear, 'bring the element child back or loose his rank, or better yet his life'. Yet brining her back to his boss wasn't his intention not since he had laid on her when they both were young she was a powerful ninja but an amazing girl as well and he had made up his mind that she was going to be his.
"Is she alive, Kazekage?" you heard a small voice whisper as your ears picked up muffled footsteps. Opening your eyes only slightly you could see stars dotting the night sky, 'How long have I been hibernating?' you asked yourself feeling a hand press against your upper chest.
"She's alive but just barely, what's kept her alive this long with nearly her whole chakra gone?" a smooth voice asked as the hand was pulled back.
"That thing around her neck, its seems to be feeding her body chakra." Another male voice answered this one with a calculating tone, as more foot steps approached. "How'd you find her?" it asked.
"I was out playing with my friends when we saw this bright (l/c) light flash over the dunes, Zane said it was a fallen star so we came to see if it was true but we just found this lady," the small voice said as it told the quick story.
"She's hurt badly Garra, it's best we take her to Sakura and Lady Tsunade" The calculating voice said again. Feeling your body lift from the chilling earth you tried to fight but your body just hung limp still not having enough to move, instead the soothing voices that had occupied your thoughts for years lulled you back to sleep.
"Hello, Little (f/n) its been a while since you have paid a visit to us. You have grown a bit little fawn," a honey like voice greeted you. Smiling widely you looked up to see a large white dragon like creature sitting on it haunches it was bathed in a pure white color, beside it stood an otter bathed in blue, next to the otter was a large clear like bird, on the dragon left side a large snake bathed in red curled up it eyes smiling at you, and finally next to the snake was a horse bathed in green.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you wait." you said as your mind drifted into a memory of when you where only five. The five creatures smiled kindly back at you as they encircled you the light that they cast sent warmth through your body.
"No need to apologize my little snake, we will wait for you for as long as needed," the snake said making the s long.
"Can we a play a game Sano?" you asked the snake in a happy voice but the creatures around shook their heads. You looked around at them from where you sat a confused look on your small face, you always played games.
"Forgive us love but we must go somewhere safe and cannot play with you," the horse said a motherly like voice coming from were it stood. You felt tears sting you eyes as the little blue otter bounded up to you.
"Don't worry (f/n) we'll be back we promise, its just for a short while," it said whipping a stray tear with its cool tail.
"Please stay I-I can keep you safe, p-please stay," you cried hugging the little animal as it too whimpered.
"Is that your wish child?" the dragon asked.
"Yes" you said in between sobs.
"You must be strong to hold us within you," it stated.
"I'll train, like the others and like you," you called back standing. Lowering its massive head to you it looked at you with golden eyes.
"So be it, now listen little one, we shall be in a from of a crystal and you must protect this crystal as it too protects you. When you need help call upon one of us or all if it comes to that and we shall be by your side, understood?" it said as all five creatures began to glow brightly. Nodding with a determined look you witnessed as they began to dissolve and form into a small crystal.
"Time to wake up my love," you heard the nearly clear bird state before it vanished.
A rush of air surged though your lungs your hands clutching the white bed sheets into a rumpled mess, you coughed as you tied to sit up but your body protested in pain. Finally with your breathing in control you moved your left hand over you abdomen as you felt bandages from your chest to your stomach, on your legs, and arms they were covering all your cuts and wounds. Slithering back up to your neck you found the crystal secure in its place, breathing out with a sigh you relaxed slightly as you took in the room around you.
"It's good to see you finally awake, miss (l/n)," you whipped your vision to the entrance were to women stood. The one with light pink hair closed the door behind her blonde companion as they strolled to where you laid.
"I'm Lady Tsunade and this is Sakura, we looked at your I.D. when the boys brought you in." she said getting to the point as you looked at them mutely. "Sakura, clean her wounds while I get Garra and Neji and another I.V," the blonde said as she walked back out of them room leaving her companion alone with you. Feeling a soft hand on you right arm you turned your head to the smiling pinkie.
"Here, you must be thirsty," she said handing you a glace of water, twenty minutes later after five glasses of cold water, new bandages, a trip to the bath room for a shower and a new hospital bed you sat in front of two men and three women they all looked at you as you ate your second plate of red bean cakes. "How long has it been since you've eaten." Sakura asked taking your now empty plate.
"Two weeks," you stated bluntly.
"Two!" the women nearly yelled.
"Oh did I two I meant three, I'm sorry." you corrected yourself Sakura and the other girl that had long black hair and you had learned was named Hinata nearly fell. As you laughed carelessly scratching you head you opened you eyes again only to lock them with the red haired man that stood with his arms crossed over his chest his sea green eyes bore into to but not in a glare. "Uh, how long have I been hibernating?" you asked turning your reddening face away.
"Hibernating, you mean this has happened more than once?" the dark haired man called Neji asked confused.
"Mhm, I usually stay under for weeks even a month so I was wondering how long have I been under," you asked looking at the white sheets.
"Uh, well they brought you in Saturday and its Tuesday so like two days," Hinata said sitting on the edge of you bed. Smiling happily your hands instinctively moved to your crystal.
"Good they weren't hurt this time," I whispered below your breath.
"Who's They?" you heard a nearly cold voice ask. Looking up you saw Garra glaring at you. Feeling you eyes dilate you felt a kind of airy feeling creep into your bones.
"To tell you who "They" are I need to show you my past," you said in sad voice as you remembered your mother's smile. Hearing Tsunade clear her throat she crossed her arms over her chest, her large chest.
"Okay not a good topic, (f/n) your clothes are in the bathroom and your things have been put in a apartment incase you decide to stay for a while. If you have any question just come find us and we'll help and you and Garra can talk some other time," she said herding every one out of your room.
An hour later you were wondering the streets of the Sand Village as you followed the map that had been left to you so you kind find your temporary "home", your clothes had been sowed back together, and a key had been by the door. Looking back at the map you picked out the name the Sand Dragon the building you would be living in. turning your head left and right you finally found it near a small store that sold Flowers. 'I should get some later,' you thought catching sight of a colorful bouquet; two bedrooms, one bathroom, a good kitchen, a small living room. You thought to your self already knowing that the bigger room with the small balcony was where you were going to be sleeping. "I'm going to take a shower than sleep wander around the village," you thought finding a (k/c) kimono folded neatly on the table a house warming gift from Hinata or that was what the tag had said. It was beautiful with flowing sleeves and nice black sandals, you smiled again knowing that you and Hina as you had decided to call her were going to be good friends.
